MFA Not Working for VPN
If you are trying to connect via VPN to the network back in the West Fargo office/data center and you can't get connected due to an issue with the Multi-Factor Authentication, try these steps to resolve:
- Verify that you are using the correct account on your Microsoft Authenticator app
- Change the name of the account on the app so you know what it is for since the default name isn't unique
- Restart your workstation
- Did you get a new phone since you last logged into VPN?
- Contact IT to have your MFA account removed from the VPN appliance
- Set up MFA on the VPN from the beginning - see attached document.
If you are still having issues, please submit a ticket for IT to look at your specific situation.
