Troubleshooting Teams Issues
If you are having persistent issues in Microsoft Teams:
- Make sure you are on a solid internet connection.
- Run a speed-test to ensure you are getting the bandwidth expected.
- At least 20Mbps download and 5Mbps uploads are needed to run Teams effectively.
- If you have the option, hard-wire your workstation to your network at home or in the office
- Ensure your credentials are current
- Log out of Teams and log back in
- Make sure to go to the Task tray, right click on the Teams icon and select Quit
- Reboot your workstation
When it comes to Teams issues, we have limited control over it's performance so if none of these solutions help, it may be related to your workstation and/or setup. Please open a ticket with the IT Help Desk.
