Customize User Interface Dialog Box

The dialog box can be accessed by the following methods:

If you have a customized workspace,

Select Transfer panel
Your current Customization File appears in the Left Half. On the Right Side pull down, select “Open customization file” Browse to the previous Customization File location, and select C3D.cuix.

C:\Users\<<%username%>>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\C3D <<version>>\enu\support

Make sure that c3d.cuix is showing in the Right Hand Panel Pull Down.
Drag “Custom Workspace default” from the Right Hand Panel to the Left Hand Panel under “Workspaces”.
Hit “Apply”, and then Hit OK to close the dialog box.
Re-open CUI
Expand “Partial Customization Files”
Find any “Unresolved” Customization Files. You can either resolve the path or remove them.
Right click on the “Unresolved” Partial Customization File.
- Select “Unload” to remove
  OR
- Select “Browse” to correct the file path

Open CUI.

Right Click on “Partial Customization Files” and select “Load a partial customization file”

Browse to the location of the partial customization file you wish to load”

Typical Location for Partial Customization Files (Examples below use Civil 3D 2021)

Raster Design

c:\users\%username%\appdata\roaming\autodesk\c3d 2021\enu\support\aecco.cuix

Map Classic

c:\users\%username%\appdata\roaming\autodesk\c3d 2021\enu\support\mapclassic.cuix

Autodesk Vehicle Tracking 2021

c:\users\%username%\appdata\roaming\autodesk\vehicle tracking\menus\atrc240.cuix

Trimble Link (If installed)

c:\users\%username%\appdata\roaming\autodesk\c3d 2021\enu\support\trimblelink.cuix
